Egalitarianism

I am not in the process of writing about the searing issues.. neither do I intend to tell u about some raw facts which cease to exist coz they were ignored.. There is so much to talk about and write about. There are only 1400 something tigers left, we should save paper n use mobiles, recent pune bomb blasts, the political leaders n their populist gimmicks....amidst these I chose to brood on 'egalitarianism' for a while.
I completely understand that the way 'our system' has taken us for granted, we have started to accept any thing on the card. we live with so many things we fail to accept.

My friends fight over the various cuisins they wanna dig at. some wud love chinese, some mexican, thai and indian. Some of the people I've met are not keen on ordering a specific cuisine coz it tastes good or smells awesome or is a delight to have but because it is stylish...or more formal...or it shows we have great taste. I believe food is meant for the taste buds n for filling stomach. No use talking about the lot for whom the concept of four square meal does not exist. Here I feel, food has no nationality...no rank or hierarchy to place. Let your taste buds decide what do u want to have..

I am very fond of dark chocolate...no matter how bad one's mood is I feel dark chocolate can easily change mood. But, I love other chocolate too. I love swiss chocolate, I love the honey dipped and carmel coated bars also, I love anything that has cocoa...coz my taste buds love cocoa...my olfactory nerves love the fragrance of dark chocolate, molten chocolate n cocoa. I do not like dark chocolate, coz it is 'very english'. I prefer an evening snack of muffins, cookies and coffee...only coz I love to.

We have easily wrenched out the original us and have been aping someone, chasing someone and being someone we are not. We want to be the star who endorses a product, or want to be a part/section which is on the top of pyramid.... we have said several times, 'there is equality, this is an egalitarian society' where we have equal rights, values and freedom.
Paradoxically, we are so different...top of the pyramid is so much different from the grassroot level....freedom, values, truth, love, triumph, malice, etc etc have diffent definition for each level of richest to poorest, most respected, revered to most hated and haves n have nots....the gap is huge like grand canyon. Buy it, we are so equal.....there is unity in diversity, aught to be more precise..... listening anyone??

Apparent anomalies in the econonmic, social and political strata.
The vehement opposition by maharastrian sena (shiv sena) to non maharastrians in their state..doesn't matter that their nationality is common- Indian.

I started with simpleton cuisine and various chocolates....how they have different levels, class and acceptance from people. Now u know why I wanted to write on egalitarianism? coz it does not exist n has become extinct , like dianosaurs and the way tigers will become in few years!
